Amazing

I had trouble coloring in coloring books when I was eleven!!!

You'll have a future in Nintendo if you keep up this great work!!!

AsianSpark responds:

Really? xD
Thanks for playin!

Beechwood aged gaming goodness!

I consider myself an afficianado of classic games. More specifically, my favorite era of games is between 1981 and 1985. When this little gem dropped from the sky, my nostalgia meter went through the roof!!! The gameplay is very faithful to the arcade classic, but it has that modern "zing" to it.

The music, however, is what made this one truly stand out. The layered, crunchy riffs juxtaposed with spacey, melodic and richly reverberated melodies take the game to a new level. Old DK never had it so good!

It gets no perfecter than this.

PsychoGoldfish responds:

Llama_of_Death would apreciate that, except he has been eaten by wildturkies.
Thanks for playing and the dope review. :)

One of the best artists on the site.

This guy can do anything. It's rare that someone can make such ass-kicking games, write such crazy, engrossing stories and create such amazing art. This guy is the real deal If you haven't already, check out his flash "Escapism". It's one of the best offerings on the site. Can't say enough good about this guy. Great job!

HeRetiK responds:

This being said from someone who is so good at flash himself means a lot to me. thanks.

Awesome game!

I had a lot of fun playing this. It's only partially complete? Geez... it felt pretty damn complete to me. Totally fun and addictive and (the magic word here) ORIGINAL! Kinda sorta in a way reminded me of Marble Madness, but not really. Maybe it was just the fact that a sphere was involved. Great job, and good luck on the final version!

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

Final version will have 100 levels, 25 for each set, 2 sets in each mode.

AMAZING!!!

BRILLIANT!!! Incredible graphics (ESPECIALLY the intro!!!) and fluid gameplay! Not to mention kickin' music! If this came out on a gaming platform, you bet your ass I'd buy it!

HotBabyBryan responds:

You totaly just complimented our whole team, thank you very much

Whoa...

Not bad at all... aside from the excruciating instruction segment, the game actually plays pretty well. You're a pretty savvy programmer, judging from the multi-layering in the background and the way the video quality auto-adjusts itself. Nicely done!

SamTheSlam responds:

Thanks for the nice review :). Yea too many people seem to hate the instructions, I should just make it simple and shorter. Thanks again

Nice surprise!

Surprisingly playable! It's evident that this game took a long time to make. The digital charecters look damn good for homebrew! I was very impressed with the colision detection and variety of enemies. If it was a little more cleaned up, this could pass for an early nineties arcade game.

Well done!

gavD responds:

Thanks ElnoabNuxNux,

I reached the limits of my Photoshop patience after about the 300th sprite frame, so yeah, it's still a little gritty - but you know what? I quite like that.

You see, I view Flash as punk rock - get what you can and use it, do it yourself, drag it up from the underground - that's why I like it a bit grimey!

Thank you.

This is one (very importatnt) subject that doesn't get enough attention. Easy to understand and entertaining as well. Good work!

ZoloftClock responds:

I am happy you founf my tutorial both easy to understand, and entertaining, I should not have made it lock though.

Excellent!

I can't believe that you made this flash. Not that it was bad... on the contrary, it was very well done. I'm just surprised because I have become familliar with your earlier works. Some of which were VERY disturbing.

I've become a fan, and I always look forward to the bizzare... maybe even brilliant movies you create. I'll never forget "no hands? no cookies!".

If I'm not mistaken (and you don't have to answer this) your alias is Estelle Getty?

Good work!

Gigli responds:

Well I thank you for the conversion! My goal was always to devellop a cult following by giving users a different kind of flash

And despite speculation Estelle and I, while good friends, are two completely different people with the same sordid sense of humor.

So if you like my stuff, vote high for Estelle's as well!

creepy...

Very very interesting stuff here... I really like how you slow down the songs when you replay them. It makes it sound even more like Satan. Scary stuff. Good work!

Heaven57 responds:

Yeah, I found the Roy Orbison one to be the creepiest. Thanks for the review!

No. Let's talk about YOU.
