Not a bad concept...

...but there are definately some problems when the credits are longer than the feature itself. Invest more time, compress the sound and you'll do just fine. Not too bad though.

Amazingly well animated

The animation was terrific and that's really all I ask ot of a submission like this. It was really fun to watch.

But that music!!! Ugh, bad choice man! I'd imagine that it would be more fitting in a snuff film. It was like Tito Puente took a heroic dose of LSD and cut an album with the Chipmunks.

Anyway, very well done nonetheless.

A good throwback

Back in the "Steamboat Willy" era, many cartoons were intentionally racist and nobody thought twice about it. It makes me glad that we live in a time that we can come to make fun of just how backwards our ideals were way back when. GREAT job, it's not everyday you see a terrific "Bosco" parody. The animation was over the top and everything fit perfectly with the music - just like back in the day. I like the interjection of that portly Aqua Teen character as well. Overall, it was fantastic.

P.S. - The first time I watched this, there were a few scenes durring the begining that I could see a purple underdrawing of trees and the fruitstand and whatnot. Looks like it was an early version that you didn't intend to keep? Anyway, I fished it out of my cache and kept it as a souviner. Was this intentional?

Stunning

An elegant piece of work that speaks volumes without uttering a word. Of all of the really superb Christmas Flash movies submitted this year, this one is by far my favorite. Powerful stuff indeed. Baby Jesus is ceertainly pleased.

We have the same freakin' sense of humor

I swear, I could be writing a technical manual for a belt sander and I'd find a place to stuff in a drug reference. In fact, I think I just thought of a perfect place.

The cartoon was, like all of your other stuff, sheer hilarity. Extremley original for a holiday toon. Keep up the great work.

Awesome, so chock full of clock

An appropriately awsesome Clock Christmas movie. Hella funny, even unexpected funny. Heh, Mrs. Claus is on her period... freakin' funny. Good Going!

I don't get it

Please don't take this the wrong way, but that was a very poorly conceptualized Flash. I did like some of the obviously traced and reused running sequences with the bizzare pasted on heads. I also thought that the gloopy water effect was impressive. Overall, however, I found this to be extremely disjointed.

For one, the music goes berzerk between action sequences. The songs come to a complete halt and start up without warning. It's a pretty jarring effect, but if it was an intentional design issue I urge you change it.

The backgrounds really need to be done directly in flash as opposed to being imported JPGs. The reason I say this is because the movie is gargantuan in size for as long as it lasts. 10 megs??? around 2 minutes??? Unacceptable! I know you probably like the nice photoshop textures, but I really can't justify anything that causes to file size to swell so needlesly. And your lines are thick to the point of being distracting.

Lastly... what the hell is even going on with the title? There are some space cadet kids running through the halls and a guy cleaning what appears to be chicken broth off of a toilet. I can't fathom how this got the name "Janitor Massacre". It just makes no sense.

Critisisms aside, It had a cool look to it and I think it would be worth continuing. Maybe do up some storyboards beforehand, it couldn't hurt.

Nossers responds:

i get ur point and i kind of didnt get along with the storyboards in the first place but the new toon is a massacre and will be here soon, until i get a flash compressor i cant really get the files smaller, i'll see what i can do

The 'Citizen Kane' of Flash music videos

I honestly have never seen anything done in flash that looked that amazing. I had to look closer at this because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I would have sworn that you used some sort of 3D program to achive the animation, but i'll take your word for it that you didn't. From start to finish, the entire thing was amazing. I'll even go as far to say that on a webstire that hosts animations such as Xombie and the Brackenwood series, this still manages to be fresh and groundbreaking. Just incredible, I don't think anything has ever impressed me this much.

That was pretty damn cool!

Good special effects you got there. Damn seamless if you ask me. If you can make something a minute long or so, you'll have a groundbreaking hit! Nice job.

I heart Teh Gamin Friends!

This was hilarious, what more can I say? I've watched since the first episode and really think of it as one of the best series on Newgrounds. It definately needs more exposure. Your humor is right on the money; laugh out loud funny.

I hope the series continues for a long, long time.

Renshu responds:

Thanks to recent events, no more of these TWO YEAR BULLSHIT HANGUPS will occur. Thanks a ton, and your patronage is very much appreciated!

No. Let's talk about YOU.
