I can't say that I understood it, but that did not keep me from enjoying it. I got some religious dystopian overtones, but I can't put my finger on what the message was. Worth a few more watches just because it was so nice to look at. Nice work, I've never seen anything like it.

I am a fan of thick British accents and isometric cube persons, so naturally this was a match. There was a certain symetry and rythym to it, making it easy to enjoy. Kind of like the simple satisfaction of watching Sesame Street when I was young. Nice on the eyes. Enjoyable.

"You nailed it with this one"
I've always been a fan of Salad Fingers, but this one is the best in my mind. It's the first time that the animation, sound and story all tied together perfectly. Your animation skill has always been great, but I get the feeling that you've reached a new level. The detail was supurb, like when it showed the hair drag across his eye, or the shadows when the camera zoomed in on his footsteps. Superb.

"New high water mark for just about everything"
Can't really express with words how amazing this was. Beats out almost everything I've ever seen done in this style. Just the best.

A lot of great submissions today, but this one really stands out!!! The wobbly camera and amazing animation make this one shine! Amazing job, clearly a cartoon that will be enjoyed by millions.

When I saw the title of this one on the portal, I knew it was going to be great. I checked it out, and yes, it was amazing. The animation went very well with the music, and the age progression of the main character was highly impressive. I thought the song was very beautiful, and overall, it complimented the animation very well. This is going to be a huge hit and will be remembered for a long time, mark my words. You did an excellent job!!!

"Repulsive, and just why I love Newgrounds"
I felt that this was a disgusting, unwatchable and poorly made flash. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. It's pure shock value set to the tune of a pathetic and amateurish song. If I would have seen this under judgement I would have given it a big fat zero.
But giant kudos to Tom for posting this on the front page. It really takes some balls to promote something as controversial as this. Kudos to giving the middle finger to those bastards that try their best to rip away our first amendment rights. I am glad that there is at least ONE place left in the world that hasn't abandoned free speach.
No offense to the author. I fuckin' loved tooth boy =)
